Ex-UFC champion Demetrious Johnson has had a bitter relationship with UFC. The fighter was dominating the Flyweight category when he had to leave the UFC. In an interview, Johnson told the infamous reporter Ariel Helwani about his problematic relationship with the UFC’s President. According to the now ONE Championship star, Dana White also helped him find his true self when he was getting scolded by White. Although the help was indirect and harsh, it did eventually make him reach his full potential. The only problem that Johnson discussed was that Dana White was not considerate. He lacked empathy in a lot of places, as the former Flyweight fighter implied. Although the pressure the 53-year-old is placed under is understandable in itself, Johnson failed to comprehend the same during the time. Even to this day, the ex-UFC fighter does not regret saying what he did before the UFC President lashed out at him.
