Laura Sanko is hands down one of the most prominent analysts in the UFC. It was not surprising at all when she was announced as a nominee for the World MMA Award. Furthermore, Sanko is also known for prompt responses and funny remarks. This is often revealed when she goes online to respond to comments on her social media. Recently, as a fan gave a gawky comment, the commentator landed with a quirky reply.

Sanko has an MMA record of 4-1 in amateur MMA, and a 1-0 at Invicta FC 4. Although she fought impressive battles, she is better known for her commentary and fight analysis.

Laura Sanko shuts down a troll with her quirky response

Laura Sanko recently shared a picture of herself and her husband, Nathan Sanko, on Instagram. The mixed martial artist revealed that she was nominated for World MMA Award. However, she wasn’t able to compete with big names, like Joe Rogan.

She captioned, “We clean up pretty well. Had a great time at the @fightersonlymag World MMA Awards. Didn’t get the trophy but honored to be nominated. Now I just need to figure out how to get nominated in a category where I’m not competing with @joerogan  …In all seriousness Joe is the Personality of the Century and its surreal to be nominated along with him and the other legends Chael Sonnen, Jon Anik, and Daniel Cormier. Can’t get better than that!!”

In the same post, a user commented, “It’s funny the way you putting aload of pics up of your other half after been accused of cheating.” However, Sanko kept her calm and gave a deserving reply.

‘Fancy’ wrote, “it’s funny you think that because some angry person you with an axe to grind said I did …gosh it must be true then huh!” Furthermore, she made a funny remark about the comment. She said, “You go by that logic I’m sleeping with more people I can count.”

Like many others, the UFC analyst’s journey in martial arts began with the blockbuster movie, ‘The Karate Kid’. She began with Karate and later turned to MMA. She trained under the wing of Jason Krause and won four of the amateur fights she fought between 2010 and 2012.

Then, she showcased her true strength in 2013, when she submitted Cassie Robb within the first round. Although her first fight with Invicta was a huge success, she couldn’t continue and had to retire due to family issues. Nevertheless, Sanko’s face became well known in the universe of combat sports as a reporter. This switch in the career seemingly gave the former mixed martial artist the ability to give exceptional remarks.
