When one thinks of stacked divisions in the UFC, the welterweight division comes to mind. One fighter behind generating interest in the welterweight division has been Colby Covington. ‘ Chaos’ has kept fans entertained through his trash-talking abilities and also his fighting skills. Recently, just like his funny trash-talk, MMA fans reacted hilariously to a commercial of Covington.

A Twitter user shared a video commercial of Colby Covington and captioned it, “Colby’s bang commercials keep getting worse and worse F*ck it, get that money” After sharing the video, MMA fans on Twitter reacted to the video: 

A Twitter user shared an image of Covington drinking from the can and wondered who drinks from a can in the way ‘The Chaos’ does.

Another Twitter user said that the more outrageous the commercials were, it simply meant that Covington was more desperate for money. That is quite a bold statement to make.

Another MMA fan seemed to not be a tremendous supporter of Covington’s trash talk. She commented on the video and said that ‘The Chaos’ is more enjoyable as a silent actor.

A fan made a comment on the post which revolved around an ongoing issue in the UFC and that issue is fighters’ pay. The fan said that Covington was simply earning his bread while the rest were complaining about the fighter’s pay.

One user disputed why Colby Covington would do something like that. The user also questioned why ‘Chaos’ could not give better ideas.

Another fan, called for Covington to receive an Oscar for his acting in the commercial.

Actor Will Smith won the Oscar this year. MMA fans are jokingly calling Covington’s acting in the video Oscar-worthy.

While Covington does all these hilarious commercials, current times have not been so funny for ‘The Chaos.’ An arch-rival recently attacked Covington.

The duo fought each other in the main event of UFC 262. While Masvidal had his moments, Covington used his volume striking and wrestling to gain the victory. What transpired days after the fight is what no one imagined.

Covington was outside a steakhouse in Miami when Jorge Masvidal allegedly came in disguise and attacked ‘Chaos.’ Post attack, Covington could be seen with some bruises on his face and chipped teeth.

Masvidal had expressed displeasure about Covington speaking about his kids. Covington after the attack said that he suffered from brain damage.

While more development is yet to take place, this attack simply suggests that the rivalry between the two has not ended. Maybe, fans will get to see them compete again in the future.
