Securing a bout against Jorge Masvidal would most likely be the best option for Burns barring an immediate title fight. ‘Gamebred’ is the biggest PPV attraction in the division and he’s a tried and tested draw at the box office. However, facing Masvidal would make the most sense given his cache as a star and as a feared contender. Gilbert Burns needs a couple more wins on his resume and Jorge Masvidal would be a huge name to add to his hit list.
