The former King of the Cage Middleweight Champion, Sean Strickland, is currently set to fight Jack Hermansson. As of now, UFC has ranked Strickland No. 7 in the middleweight rankings. Additionally, his opponent is one rank above in the same ranking list.

The fight is set to take place on UFC Fight Night, on February 5th. While the 30-year-old is preparing for his upcoming bout, a fighter of a different weight division seems to have a problem with him. The fighter is none other than Sean O’Malley.

O’Malley is fighting Raulian Paiva, at the upcoming UFC 269. Previously, the bantamweight prospect, ‘Sugar’, labeled Strickland a ‘psychopath’ during his self-run podcast. Strickland was not so pleased by his comments.

Strickland retaliated back to O’Malley through Twitter. In his tweet, he stated, “@SugaSeanMMA woke up one day and said “you know that guy who snitched on all his friends, did something shady with minor, yeah, that guy I want him to tattoo his name on me” lol!! You know @SugaSeanMMA walks around holding his pocket lol!!!!”

What exactly did Sean O’Malley say about Sean Strickland?

Sean released episode 44 of his podcast discussing, UFC 269 Predictions and Tyron-Jake’s rematch. In which he touched on the topic of his future fight. Consequently, he claimed he couldn’t get on the Sean Strickland fight card.

O’Malley revealed, “Oh, I can’t get Sean Strickland’s card. I’m afraid he will fucking kill me. Actually, I might not want to be with that guy. He’s kind of fucking like freaks and psychopaths. It’s like if he had a chance to kill, he might do it. So it’s as if I don’t even want to fight on that bastard’s card. He’ll say:’There can be no two Xiaos on this card. kindness’”

O’Malley is currently riding a two-win streak. If he manages to get a victory against Paiva, he might claim the bantamweight division pretty fast.
