There is nothing like a lazy day only for it to get spiced up by the MMA community. Since yesterday, Jorge Masvidal assaulting Colby Covington outside the Papi Steak restaurant in Miami Beach has been hot news.

Covington, who was having dinner with the Nelk Boys in the restaurant, was assaulted by former friend Jorge Masvidal outside the restaurant while exiting the place.

After the incident, Masvidal and his manager tweeted and insinuated that the punch that landed on Covington broke one of his teeth.

This assault was not well received by the MMA community and the fighters on the UFC roster have reacted to ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal’s actions towards Colby Covington.

What has Colby Covington done after the incident with Masvidal at the restaurant?

Reports have come in that Masvidal has been charged with felony battery. Another friend of Masvidal, however, had a different thing in mind when it came to pressing charges.

On his IG live, Tyron Woodley stated, “Colby Covington’s a ho if he’s trying to press charges on my dog. A fight’s a fight. You just fought him in a cage. If y’all still ain’t settled it by then, then sh*t might have to go again. It might be for free this time.

Not to say that Woodley might be the reason why Covington may not pursue this legally, but the fact that pressing charges after being assaulted by a fighter you already dominated seems like a position of weakness to some in the UFC. This is something ‘Chaos’ Covington won’t want.
