If you were an internet user back in 2016, there is no way you do not know this phrase – “Catch me outside, how about that?” This is a phrase that gained popularity from a viral video featuring a guest on the Dr. Phil show. The episode featured a 13-year-old girl named Danielle Bregoli, along with her mother, Barbara Ann. During the episode, Dr. Phil attempted to address Danielle’s behavioral issues. At one point in the conversation, Danielle challenged the audience to fight her outside the studio by saying, “Catch me outside, how ’bout dat?” The phrase was her way of taunting and challenging anyone who had a problem with her.

“Her mother actually brings her on. She’s a train wreck, and we work with her. We send her to this ranch for like four months. She makes a complete turnaround and does a really great job,” he said. However, the girl got back to her old ways after spending just one day with her mother. “One night home with her mother, just one night, (it) crashes!”
