In the video, Hardy was seen participating in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament held in Milton Keynes, UK. The bouts of Hardy received huge pops from the crowd.

His words implied the fact that Tom Hardy might be known to most as an actor and not a martial artist. But he is definitely great at fighting it out on the mat as well.

The caption by Kavanagh is also a callback to Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, in which Hardy played the role of Bane. The original quote read, “Oh, you think darkness is your ally. But you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it.”
