Khamzat Chimaev, the undefeated UFC fighter, received a backlash from fans yet again. Chimaev has previously received some criticism concerning his ties with the Chechen dictator. On several occasions, Chimaev has received criticism from his fans. Fans are concerned that his dangerous ties with the Chechen dictator will do him no good. Some even speculate that many things he does are not out of his free will. Although the posts on his social media account show otherwise.

The fans started criticizing and lashing out at ‘the Borz’ following the post. However, it is not the first time that he has received this reaction from fans. 

What did Khamzat Chimaev post?

The UFC fighter recently posted a picture with Ramzan Kadyrov’s son on Instagram. The post had a caption saying “Happy birthday my brother”. This brought in yet another wave of objection from Chimaev‘s international fans.

Apart from Chimaev, a few other fighters have also been associated with the dictator in the past. Fighters like Justin Gaethje and Kamaru Usman have also received a backlash prior to Chimaev.

Ahead of his supposed fight with Alex Pereira, which is still not officially announced, fans are reportedly leaving Chimaev’s support. The reason is his dangerous ties with the infamous dictator and his family.
