UFC megastar Conor McGregor was in a giving mood on the most recent episode of ‘The Ultimate Fighter 31’. He took his team out for a celebratory pre-fight dinner in Las Vegas. However, the celebrations and the good spirits couldn’t last for long as Team McGregor suffered yet another loss on TUF 31. His teammate Rico DiSciullo, who helped ‘The Notorious’ to avoid a clean sweep in the preliminary rounds, took on Cody Gibson from Michael Chandler‘s team. It was a bantamweight semifinal fight. However, this time around, DiSciullo could not get the job done. He lost via submission in the very first round.

However,  more than the loss, it seems that it is the pre-fight dinner that is in the spotlight now. Former UFC fighter Ben Askren couldn’t understand the reason behind the gesture made by the Irishman. Even fans have weighed in now to give their opinions about the dinner party. ‘The Notorious’ took his team out for dinner. It was the first time the contestants had the luxury of stepping outside the TUF house to have some fun. The Irishman took them to Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis in Las Vegas. His teammates seemed happy as they toasted Conor McGregor for being their coach. Similarly, the former double champion reciprocated the toast by gifting $ 1,000 casino chips to each member of his team.

Meanwhile, Ben Askren caught hold of this moment from a video clip on Twitter. He was confused as to what Conor McGregor and his team were celebrating since they’d had one of the most disastrous seasons in the history of TUF. Askren tweeted, “What are they celebrating?
