Conor McGregor, the former two-division champion of UFC, had some sweet words for the UFC boss Dana White during one of the biggest pre-fight conferences of his career.

‘The Notorious’ is undoubtedly one of the greatest fighters in the world of combat sport. Coming from the streets of Dublin, McGregor became one of the greatest stars in the promotion.

However, it was UFC President White who recognized McGregor’s star potential in the first place. Hence, he gave him a spot in the UFC and the rest is history. Therefore, both the men have always had a good relationship with each other.

That said, McGregor once wholeheartedly complimented the boss of one of the biggest MMA promotions in the world, White. During a press conference, a reporter asked McGregor, “Dana said in New York that he feels like your mental warfare game has actually surpassed even Muhammad Ali curious about your thoughts about that.”

To which the Irishman responded by thanking him and also lauded him for his work. He said, Thank you so much, Dana. I appreciate you. I also have a, I have nothing but good things to say about you. You are an OG of the fight game. The work you put in over the years to get this spot.”

Conor McGregor gives an update on his UFC return

‘The Notorious’ suffered a gruesome injury during his fight in 2021. However, the pay-per-view star has fully recovered and is looking for a comeback to the UFC octagon. He even uploads regular training videos of himself.

Recently, during an interview, McGregor gave massive news about his return. The former champion stated that he has fully recovered and is already training his upper body.

However, the doctors will do one more CT scan of his leg injury. And once that is clear, McGregor will work on his kick and grapple. The Irishman also revealed that he was excited about his return.

However, he didn’t give a name for his comeback fight. But McGregor previously claimed he is eyeing a welterweight title fight on his return. Hence, it will be interesting to see what the UFC does on his comeback.
