Mother’s Day is special to the MMA community as it is to the rest of the world. Several top UFC stars took to social media to wish their own mothers and the mothers of their children. Some of them even joined in on the happiness of others as they shared their love for their mothers. UFC president Dana White was among those that joined in on one such wish.

Hollywood star Jack Black wrote his late mother a wholesome message on his Instagram. Several top celebrities and White reacted to the message in support of Black and the occasion of Mother’s Day. The 53-year-old actor is also dear to fight fans for his friendship with UFC welterweight Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson. The two-time UFC welterweight title challenger uses Black’s band Tenacious D’s song ‘Wonderboy’ as his walkout music, which was a foundational factor for their friendship.

Therefore, as Jack Black shared a heartfelt message on Mother’s Day, he had members of the MMA community join him along with some of his Hollywood buddies.

Leading MMA figures like UFC president Dana White and retired UFC stars Michael Bisping, and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson reacted to Jack Black’s Mother’s Day post. White and Bisping liked the post while ‘Rampage’ left a Mother’s Day GIF in the comments.

The post had a picture of Black’s mother, Judith Love Cohen, along with the information that she had helped design the critical Abort Guidance System that allowed Apollo 13 astronauts to return to Earth safely. In the post caption, Black wrote, “it’s true…my mom was a bad-ass aerospace engineer…and also a loving mother…I miss you mama!”

Hollywood director James Gunn, and actors Johnny Knoxville, and Dwayne Johnson also liked the post.

Rock Band Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea commented, “Aww wow! That is f***ing amazing!!!! Love to your beautiful mama!”

Actress, Karen Gillan wrote, “Wowza!!!!”
