“You’re Calling Your Little Sister Hot?”: ‘Going Too Far’ With Laura Sanko on Live TV, Daniel Cormier Gets Stopped by Ex-UFC Champ in Hilarious Spot

The UFC is done with the weigh-in for the upcoming event on March 4. The main event of UFC 285 will feature Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane headlining for the vacant UFC heavyweight championship. Recently, Dan Hellie was joined by Daniel Cormier, Chris Weidman, and Laura Sanko, during the ‘Weigh In show’ for UFC 285.

Sanko is UFC-first ever female color commentator. She started her career as an MMA fighter. However, she decided to opt out of fighting due to family reasons and returned to work as an interviewer in the UFC before becoming a commentator. While DC has fully turned into a member of UFC’s broadcast team after retiring from the sport in 2020. Chris Weidman makes occasional appearances on preview shows for UFC events.

The three hosts of the ‘Weigh In Show’ were discussing Sanko‘s admiration for rising star Shavkat Rakhmonov. However, things took a different turn after Cormier complemented the female commentator. A video clip of this instance from the show has gone viral on social media.

Chris Weidman interrupts Daniel Cormier complementing Laura Sanko

While the hosts were engaged in a conversation during the show, DC decided to give a compliment to ‘Fancy’. He said, ‘”You look beautiful with that hat. Like, stunning.” However, the former middleweight champion, Chris Weidman, found it inappropriate for DC to comment on a co-host like that. He interrupted Cormier and said, “You’ve gotten too far. You’ve gotta chill.” But the conversation didn’t end there.

Cormier told Weidman“She looks pretty, huh?” However, ‘The All American’ was not interested in having that conversation. He replied, “But you’ve gotta stop.” DC then told Weidman that he considered Laura Sanko as his sister.

“But she’s my sister, my little sister,” said DC. But the former middleweight champion found it weird and shut Cormier down immediately. Weidman asked, “You’re calling your little sister hot?”

The whole situation turned out to be weird for all the people inside the studio. However, it didn’t look like Sanko took it seriously, as Dan Hellie made a joke about DC to make it less awkward for the environment to get back to normal.

However, it has become one of the most hilarious moments in a UFC ‘Weight In Show’.
