Now Dominance MMA’s Rizvan Magomedov has weighed in on the situation as well. He told RT Sport that Zabit is currently looking to get his health fixed. Nothing can be confirmed about his career inside the Octagon until the Russian actually heals from his problems.

I am not going to take the responsibility for telling you that he is about to finish his career and leave the sport. Yes, there are some rumors, but we haven’t heard from Zabit on his final decision yet.

“Actually, he has some health issues- a month and a half ago I told you that already. Those issues are still there,” said Magomedov recently in an interview.

He is trying to solve them. It’s not about any mechanical injury. It’s about his immune system. And that is why sometimes he struggles to get in a proper shape ahead of the fights.

“So, as long as he is dealing with these problems, he won’t be able to let you know the final verdict. We should just wait,” he further added.

It’s unfortunate that the fighter is suffering from such a severe illness. At 30, he has the best days of him as a fighter ahead of him. However, it’s lamentable to see him on the sidelines for so long during this period.
