Zhang Weili Makes a Fans Day by Commenting on an Instagram Post

Zhang Weili, the current UFC women’s Strawweight World Champion, has just made a fan’s day by commenting on and appreciating a post on Instagram. The fan page posted a video of Zhang training with her coach.

The video contained clips of Zhang during a weight cut, practicing some punches, and of her fight against Jessica Andrade, where she finally won the Championship belt. The video had an emotional score and was received very well.

The fan, zhangweili.mma, captioned the video, “Thank you so much! Indeed, no words are enough to express my gratitude for you. I just want you to feel. After all, the real feeling is not words, but the soul!” They also expressed their gratitude by saying, “Today, you and your team like my post. It’s already a dream! Thank you, unique team, Black Tiger.”

Zhang Weili liked the video and dropped a comment saying, “Very very good coach. Good people!” The fan was elated, and rightfully so.

Recently, Zhang fought Joanna Jedrzejczyk in one of the “Fight of the Year” contenders at UFC 248 on March 7,2020. The fight was an absolute battle from start to finish, and everyone was in awe of the strength, tenacity, and fighting spirit of these two warriors.

“It was an honor to share the Octagon with Joanna and have the battle that we did,” said Zhang. “I have seen the fight many times now, too many to count. Not just because I watched it myself, but because it has been played over and over throughout the world. I’m happy that many people enjoyed the battle, and I look forward to returning to the Octagon soon.”

Earlier, she beat Jessica Andrade in the first round via knockout to grab the Championship belt. Ever since then, her stock has always risen. She is the first person from China to hold a UFC title, cementing her place in the history books. With her magnetic personality and wholesome interactions with fans like these, she’s bound to reach the level of fame her talent deserves.
