In a latest episode of the JRE podcast, Rogan recalls how the UFC doctor was simply fascinated by the build of the Cuban.

He said, “He is a freak of all freaks. He needs to be studied in the lab,” He adds, “The UFC brought him to a doctor and the doctor said, ‘Where did you get this guy,’ and the UFC was ‘He is awesome right?’ and he said no I haven’t seen a Human being built like that, like him.”

Essentially, back in 2018, Romero broke his leg mid-fight but defeated the former middleweight champion via stoppage in the third. In another episode of his podcast with Mike Perry, he said, “Yoel Romero, he has his neck fused.

He adds, “He had an operation where, like, his disc was so f***ed up that they had to fuse the discs in his neck.” Joe Rogan added, “They had to fuse the spinal columns.” This insight only suggests that there are various facts about the Cuban is not any regular fighter but a specimen of a being.
