It surprised fans to see Tom Brady attend a UFC Fight Night event since the card did not really have much star power. Nevertheless, he seemed to enjoy watching the fights. In addition to that, even had a brief interaction with 27-year-old prospect Joe Pyfer after the latter’s win over Abdul Razak Alhassan.

However, Tom Brady did not really come to the Apex just to watch the fights. He had some other plans with UFC CEO, Dana White. The 54-year-old promoter revealed during the post-fight press conference that he and the NFL legend had plans to go and watch the Irish rock band U2 perform live. “We’re going to [watch the] U2 [concert] tonight,” said Dana White. Besides, the UFC CEO wasn’t necessarily thinking of watching U2 perform live. It was more about his newfound love for the $2.3 billion structure, the MSG Sphere. White recently claimed that he is planning to put on a UFC event in that venue in the future.

UFC CEO wants to bring UFC to the Sphere

Given that Dana White and Tom Brady went to watch a live concert at the Sphere, U2 were the first musical artists to have performed in the billion-dollar structure. The 54-year-old promoter was smitten by Sphere. It is one of the most stunning arenas that the world has ever seen. The MSG Sphere can give tough competition to some of the biggest arenas in the world. As such, White wants to make his mark in that structure as well.
