Jones‘s other two brothers are famous Super Bowl champions. The UFC star’s older brother is Arthur, and his younger brother is Chandler. Arthur was part of the NFL for eight seasons, where he played as a defensive tackle for famous teams such as the Ravens, Colts, and Commanders. At the moment, Chandler plays on the defensive end for the Raiders.
Jones strongly believes that, unlike them, he was never good at football. He later admitted, ” I sucked at football. I made a hell of a benchwarmer, though.” Nonetheless, there is no doubt that Jon Jones is one of the toughest fighters in the promotion.
The highly anticipated return of Jones
‘Bones’ has a record of twenty-six victories and just a single loss in his fighting career. The American fighter was able to sit on the light heavyweight throne two times. He defended his belt from 2011 to 2015 for the first time, and for the second time, he defended his title from 2018 to 2020.
The UFC star stayed away from the sport after his last victory against Dominick Reyes in 2020. They both fought against each other at UFC 247, where Jones won via decision. At the moment, the UFC community is eagerly awaiting the fight between Jones and Gane. ‘Bones’ himself has admitted that he has to train rigorously, as Gane will be a great opponent for him. The fans now have to wait until March 5th to watch the exciting match.
