Fans did not witness the crowning of new champions at the Super Bowl LVIII. Kansas City Chiefs successfully defended their title against the San Francisco 49ers in a match that went into overtime. Although it was a bad day for fans of the latter, former UFC fighter Nate Diaz has extended his unwavering support.

Nate Diaz takes aim at the Chiefs after their win

After taking part in a San Francisco 49ers hype video about a month ago, Nate Diaz made it clear that he is an avid fan of the team. This does not come as a surprise since he’s from Compton, San Francisco. But in the wake of the defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs, Diaz appeared to take a shot at the Super Bowl winners.

“F*ck the chiefs. NinerGang[100],” wrote Nate Diaz. The 5-time winners have not won the Super Bowl since Super Bowl XXIX. It remains to be seen if they can secure a sixth title next time out since this was the first time in five years that they marched into the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, the 49ers’ head coach, Kyle Shanahan, opened up after the loss to the Chiefs.

“It was two real good teams. We went back and forth throughout the whole game. And both teams played their a**es off and then they [Chiefs] got it done…We were hurting and our team’s hurting, but that’s how it goes when you put yourself out there and we’re real proud of our guys,” said Kyle Shanahan. Now, the San Francisco 49ers will now have to shift their focus on what’s ahead of them.
