“I’m Always Down for a Challenge” – NFL Star Patrick Mahomes Didn’t Back Down After Pro UFC Fighter Called Him Out Once

Julian Marquez had defeated Sam Alvey at UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs Holland. Marquez submitted Alvey in the second round to win. He did something very interesting after the fight. The Kansas fighter called out Kansas City Chief quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, and some other footballers, challenging them to an encounter. Further stating that he was the “baddest man from Kansas City”.

“The Cuban Missile Crisis” called out for Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill and Patrick Mahomes. In an interview with ESPN, Marquez said, “I am the Baddest man from Kansas City, The baddest middleweight in Missouri, this is one thing. It’s my time right now. So Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, I challenge you all to a badminton or pickleball competition.”

The call-out didn’t go unanswered as Mahomes and others responded to “The Cuban Missile Crisis”. The NFL quarterback was was quick to respond. In a comment responding to ESPN’s video on Twitter, he said, “Need a couple of weeks but I’m always down for a challenge “Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill also accepted the challenge on Twitter with laughing Emojis.

Julian Marquez and his “magnificent” beard

Adding a pinch of salt and flare to his challenge, Julian Marquez had claimed that his beard was enough to deal with anything that the footballers had, he said, “This magnificent beard tops all of it what you guys have to bring”.

Julian Marquez has a Pro-MMA record of 9 wins-3 losses, and 0 draws. Fans will see the fighters in UFC Fight Night 216. The event is scheduled for the 17th of December. This will be the final card of the promotion for 2022, in all probability.
