UFC commentator Joe Rogan has shown his interest in the NFL on numerous occasions. The 55-year-old is a passionate fan of martial arts with a keen eye for the various aspects of the sport. Therefore, when discussing the risks involved in a contact sport like MMA, he has also segued onto football more than once. However, his most recent reference to the NFL had nothing to do with the sport or athlete safety. Rather, it was a sly dig at the wife of a star NFL quarterback.

In episode #1946 of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan hosted fellow stand-up comics: Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Schaffir. Featuring a three-and-half hour-long conversation, the episode titled ‘Protect Our Parks 7’ saw the four friends dish on various subjects. One of them was Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes‘ spouse.

Shane Gillis introduced the subject of Mahomes’s wife to Joe Rogan about halfway through their conversation. The co-host of ‘Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast’ told Rogan about the wild celebrations from Brittany Mahomes over her husband’s performances.

The group then saw a clip of Mrs. Mahomes celebrating a Kansas City Chiefs moment. Brittany Mahomes was highly energetic in the clip, and this attracted a few sly comments from Rogan.

However, Rogan is not the first person to have a negative observation about Brittany Mahomes’s highly energetic celebration antics. She recently faced the ire of Cincinnati Bengals fans for her celebrations after their loss to the Chiefs.

When Bengals fans turned on Brittany Mahomes

Kansas City Chiefs earned their ticket to the Super Bowl after beating Cincinnati Bengals in a thrilling game of football. Patrick Mahomes earned many commendations for playing despite an injury and helping his team advance. However, many Bengals fans complained about poor officiating following their team’s loss to the Chiefs.

Brittany Mahomes posted a video on her Instagram after the win, highlighting her husband’s key moments from the game. While the 27-year-old was merely congratulating and supporting her husband, several fans in the comment section decided to vent their frustrations at Mrs. Mahomes. However, several Chiefs fans also came to her defense saying she was free to celebrate the win however he wanted.
