The last 24 hours have seen some interesting developments come to light in the world of MMA. But it becomes a tough and irksome task for enthusiasts of this popular sport, and to spare you from that, we have yet another edition of the daily roundup. We will start with UFC fans expressing their concerns for Joe Rogan‘s well-being. Then, we will shift our focus to Conor McGregor, who was warned about the dangers of fighting Michael Chandler. Finally, we will sum up the daily news compilation with Max Holloway hilariously reacting to an unusual request from former NFL player Chad Ochocinco.

Fans express concern for Joe Rogan’s health

Joe Rogan caught the fans’ attention during UFC 300. A photo of him alongside fellow commentators Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier and backstage reporter Megan Olivi surfaced, where the 56-year-old appeared to have been suffering some steroid side effects. The posture of his body looked unusual as fans sounded a bit for Rogan and mentioned that his use of human growth hormone may have affected his body since some of his organs looked unusually larger than before.

Joe Rogan is no stranger to HGH. He has openly confessed many times to using it often and has been advocating the benefits of using that substance. However, Rogan claims to use amounts as prescribed by his doctor but the picture tells a different story. The fans observed the photo and pointed out that a symptom of high HGH use can be indicated by the “bubble gut” that the longtime UFC commentator has developed. Rogan has never mentioned anything serious about his health of late, but such indicators often raise concerns among fans.

Conor McGregor warned about Michael Chandler

The greatest return in UFC history will take place on June 29th when Conor McGregor returns to action after nearly three years out of action. UFC legends Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen weighed in on that topic, as they claimed the Irishman may be up for a tough outing. ‘The American Gangster’ mentioned how long McGregor has kept Michael Chandler waiting for the fight, which is something that ‘Iron’ has not forgotten. Furthermore, the first former double champion laid his hands on his comeback opponent twice during ‘The Ultimate Fighter 31‘.

“Make no mistake. Michael Chandler is furious with Conor McGregor… He hasn’t forgiven having his [McGregor’s] hands put on him two separate times during ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, he hasn’t forgot that he’s waited almost two years,” added Chael Sonnen. It remains to be seen how hard Conor McGregor has trained for his comeback given that long hiatuses haven’t worked in favor of most UFC fighters.

Max Holloway left in splits after receiving a fight request from Chad Ochocinco

‘Blessed’ was perhaps the biggest highlight of the UFC 300 PPV. He and Justin Gaethje fought till the very last end until the former BMF champion fell flat on the mat after getting knocked out during the intense trade of strikes in the final 10 seconds. Even former NFL player Chad Ochocinco watched the fight and talked about it during an episode of ‘Night Cap’ with fellow former player and co-host, Shannon Sharpe. Mentioning that he was a state wrestling champion, Ochocinco asked his co-host how long he thought the 44-year-old would last in a fight against Holloway. He asked, “If I was to fight Max, when you think he would beat me in the octagon?” Sharpe hilariously reacted by saying, “30 seconds’.

This seemingly caught the attention of Max Holloway and he responded by asking Chad Ochochinco to hit him up if he ever finds himself in Hawaii. “lol he has to be trolling. Ever in Hawaii [Ochocinco] lmk,” Holloway added. However, the former NFL player was not done there. In another clip from the same episode of ‘Night Cap’, Ochocinco asked Shannon Sharpe what ‘Blessed’ would have to do to get to his children if the former UFC champion had to through him. “Let’s say my Kids are standing behind me and Max Holloway gotta get through to me to get to my kids. What you think finna happen?”The 55-year-old did not think it would end well for his co-host and advised him to keep his children at home. “Leave you kids at home”, replied Sharpe as both burst out laughing. When Holloway came across that video, he couldn’t help but laugh at it too.
