Judging by the reactions of the fans, they are not amused by Dana White’s delayed statement for arguably the biggest card of the year. They expressed their disappointment with Tom Brady for attending the Powerslap event. Nonetheless, Brady is a huge fan of the UFC and in a statement to Alexander Volkanovski, he explained why.

Brady acknowledges Alexander Volkanovski’s record

The ex-Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback shared his admiration for the UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, mentioning how much he enjoyed watchi͏ng ‘Great’ and how they used to catch his ͏fights in the locker room with their former teammates.

“So I’ve been watching UFC forever, and I love you and love everything you do. And you have no idea, in our locker room we all would sit there and watch all your fights,” said Brady in a conversation with Alexander Volkanovski. Down in the conversation he ‘Volk’ appreciated Brady’s support and emphasized that he has one goal on his mind right now and that is to decimate Ilia Topuria at The UFC 298.
