The ‘Notorious’ one is a well-accomplished athlete, famous not just in the UFC but in the entire world. So, it is not surprising to know that several up-and-coming stars would want to follow in his footsteps. One such admirer of Conor McGregor includes the rising UFC prospect, Sean O’Malley.

‘Suga’ Sean has often mentioned that it would not hurt to learn from someone like the ‘Notorious’, one who has achieved greatness in his career. And one of O’Malley’s hopes was also to meet McGregor in person.

Well, O’Malley’s most wanted thing finally came to fruition. On his official Instagram handle, ‘Suga’ Sean recently shared a short clip of his interaction with McGregor. The pair met at the recent Los Angeles Chargers vs. Dallas Cowboys NFL game, which took place on September 20, 2021, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

There is no way to know what the pair were chatting about, as the clip does not have audio. Nevertheless, the post has a befitting caption, which is – “The Notorious Two.”

Can Sean O’Malley become as great as Conor McGregor?

Fans have often compared O’Malley to the McGregor who was on his way to becoming one of the most talked-about UFC prospects. Back then, the ‘Notorious’ was already a great MMA athlete, as he had dominated every opponent before making his UFC debut. 

The ‘Notorious’ one was the Cage Warriors’ two-division champion of the featherweight and lightweight divisions. He was just repeating history when he became the UFC two-division champion.

Meanwhile, O’Malley has not accomplished a lot at this point. However, ‘Suga’ Sean still has an impressive resume. He has a professional MMA record of 14-1 and is one of the best knockout artists in the UFC bantamweight division.
