Joe Rogan is incredibly passionate about MMA and combat sports. However, he also recognized the hard work and grit it takes for other athletes to achieve success in other sports. Hence, in a previous JRE episode from 2018, the podcaster and his guest, Diamond Dallas Page, talked about NFL star, Tom Brady.

Rogan said, “You know what’s crazy about Tom Brady? He looks like someone’s dad. Like you see him on the beach, he don’t look like, you know, … you see Tom Brady, ‘Oh, Mike’s dad.'”
“He’s totally normal looking. I mean, he doesn’t look bad. He looks like he’s in good shape. … There he is. What the f**k? How’s that possible?”

The UFC commentator and his guest pulled up some beach pictures of the athlete to look at. “How is that the greatest quarterback of all time?” he questioned.
“But it’s obviously his mind too, that’s f**king insane. That guy ain’t s*cking in his gut for anybody.”
“It’s a couple of inches over his f***ing shorts. … He doesn’t give a sh*t.”

Additionally, talking about Brady’s wife, Gisele Bündchen, he said, “Her and Jessica Biel together created some sort of a nuclear explosion.”
While Rogan and his guest laughed while discussing the topic at hand, the latter said that it was all about healing bodies. However, NFL’s Tom Brady isn’t the only athlete Rogan has discussed on the JRE. NBA personalities like Michael Jordan are a popular choice because of their legacy.

Discussing athletes on the JRE is nothing new. In fact, Rogan has also discussed Michael Jordan several times. In an older episode, the podcaster and his guest, Matt Braunger, discussed Jordan’s mindset.

They were in awe of how the former NBA star would give his all for a win. Rogan pointed out how Jordan was gifted and has a powerful will and intelligence. In addition to that, he would also ‘maximize’ every opportunity.

They discussed how ‘MJ’ would also spend a lot of money on recovering. Thus, NBA personalities and their athletic giftedness are one discussion Joe Rogan loves to have on his show.
