Marlon Moraes displayed his competency in the world of mixed martial arts when he defeated Aljamain Sterling and Josenaldo Silva. The bantamweight division of the UFC witnessed the rise of Moraes as he went ahead with a phenomenal display of his prowess. However, his victory was short-lived. The fighter lost several bouts after facing defeat at the hands of Henry Cejudo. He decided to leave the UFC and reasoned that he didn’t have the motivation to start everything back again after a long losing streak.

Thereafter, he switched to PFL and fought for the league. With his final battle against Gabriel Braga at PFL 4, ‘Magic’ decided to finally hang his gloves.
