The news of Francis Ngannou‘s departure shook the MMA world recently. The UFC boss, Dana White, talked to the media at the post-fight press conference of UFC Vegas 67 where he revealed that the promotion would be releasing their current Heavyweight Champion. White also laid stress on the fact that he had promised the most lucrative contract amount to Ngannou, which no other UFC Heavyweight had received. Still, Ngannou rejected the offer, which forced the UFC to cut ties with him.

This news created massive headlines shortly after its revelation. The noted MMA promotion, PFL, also took heed of this important happening and put out a tweet related to this issue. However, the fans were quick enough to pick out what the tweet signified and gave out their opinions as replies.

The fans went vocal asking the PFL to sign Francis Ngannou

The tweet from the official Twitter handle of the PFL contained a GIF of the noted wrestling superstar, Hulk Hogan walking out with his belt. The fans quickly connected the dots and picked out that this tweet was all about Ngannou‘s exit from the UFC.

The fans made sincere requests to the PFL urging them to sign in ‘The Predator’. One such fan wrote, All eyes on you @PFLMMA  let’s make it happen”.

One more fan exhibited his excitement, replying, “Make it happen! Francis to the PFL is exactly what this sport needs in 2023″.

Another user claimed that he already knew about Ngannou‘s transit to the PFL. He had witnessed Ngannou‘s mother dawning a PFL t-shirt, which made things clear to him.

The fan wrote, “I knew it soon as I saw Francis post a pic and the woman in the picture sitting next to him had a @PFLMMA shirt on”.

Another fan also vocalized his wish loud and clear as he stated, “We want francis”.

Fans also suggested a Jake Paul vs Ngannou matchup after his signing

Some other fans wished a bit more from the PFL. Along with vocalizing their wish to sign Ngannou in the league, a lot of fans wanted to see a Jake Paul vs Francis Ngannou showdown as ‘The Predator’s’ first PFL fight.

One fan expressed his wish, writing, “Francis vs Jake Paul book it”. One more fan expressed a similar opinion. He wrote, “N’Gannou Vs Jake Paul confirmed”.

While one fan saw it as an unnecessary move and predicted that the PFL would go into losses due to Ngannou‘s huge fight purses. The user wrote, “his bags gonna bankrupt the company”.

Despite the fans having full confidence, it can never be documented that Ngannou will join the PFL. But, as of now, the MMA world views a strong possibility of ‘The Predator’ joining the PFL.
