Rogan’s highly influential podcast recently made a return to YouTube after a long time. Former Fox News journalist Tucker Carlson appeared on the podcast and created a lot of buzz online. The episode was initially released on YouTube, but later Rogan’s team had to make it private because of some scheduling issues. Fans believed that YouTube brought down the video because of Carlson’s controversial figure. However, Rogan took to his X account to share a tweet, which cleared all the air surrounding the rumor. Such was the impact of the JRE podcast that ‘The Tucker Podcast’ has now moved to the second spot on the US Spotify charts.

Carlson has always been in the limelight for his controversial opinions on varied topics. People have condemned his actions time and again, but that did not stop Rogan from inviting him. Rogan previously denied inviting Tucker Carlson as a guest on his podcast for all the right reasons. Carlson’s team had reached out to Rogan after the latter was grounded by the Fox channel for his toxicity and white supremacist ideologies. However, it now seems that the pair have moved on from their fight, and Carlson is benefiting from the JRE podcast. It will now be interesting to see whether The Tucker Carlson Podcast can retain the top spot in the future or not.

The JRE host shared an incident during his fighting days that made him reconsider his decision to fight. He said, “fought this kid who was, I think he was the Illinois state champion. And I hit him in the head with a wheel kick… and it has insane power, I mean insane power… And I caught this guy, he came at me with what’s called a stepping roundhouse kick.” He further added that the young kid never recovered from the kick and was taken to the hospital. Rogan seemed shocked by the incident and has since lost his motivation to fight.

He further added, “I have no idea what happened to him and it freaked me out… And then I was thinking I’m not immune to that, someone could 100% do that to me… It changed my feeling about it. I didn’t have the same enthusiasm after that. That was probably like the beginning of the end for me,” Do you feel Rogan was correct in leaving MMA because of an injury?
