Former two UFC division champion, Conor McGregor has hit a new low. ‘Notorious’ has often been surrounded by controversies outside the octagon. Recently, he faced a lawsuit over a dispute of Proper 12. Furthermore, he got in trouble when he punched a man over a whiskey dispute in a bar. Although he got into loads of trouble with his image and likability among his fans. This hasn’t stopped him from giving a low blow again. In this instance, he was mocking PJ Gallagher over his recent mental struggles and the Irish Footballer supported him over this. However, McGregor was taking no prisoners and mocked the Irish Soccer player as well.

Conor McGregor is struggling to regain his prime. Once he had the fan’s support for his trash talk and the performance to back his words to it. However, now the performance and results are not backing up the UFC fighter’s trash talk.

 

The Irishman is still recovering from his horrific leg break in his last loss against Dustin Poirier. Moreover, he hasn’t been in the best of forms inside the octagon, having won just one out of his last four fights. The recent results and the inactivity has meant that he finds himself outside the UFC top 15 lightweight rankings. However, he still knows how to stay in the limelight.

Conor McGregor takes digs at Paul McGrath

The ‘Notorious’ took a swing at PJ Gallagher over his recent struggle with mental illness. He wrote in a deleted tweet, “Sit up right and smile for a change will you, you sad c*nt, hahahaha wife left you an all and your crying in the paper bout depression. Posture like a prawn. Sad b*stard.”

“I am Ireland. Don’t forget it. There’s blood on my flag useesoo.” He further added. To this, the comedian replied with his witty humor by saying that it took him years of ‘hard work’ and ‘awkward walking’ to reach this point.

Moreover, when McGrath came to his support McGregor took a swing at him as well. When a fan asked him to mock the soccer player he said, “Never Won Anything for Ireland”.

This back and forth came after Messi lifted one of the most famous trophies in soccer history. Argentina won the 2022 FIFA World Cup after last winning it back in 1986. This was the third time that they have won the glorious trophy.

PJ Gallagher explained his battle with mental illness

Gallagher explained how he was torn up and scared, battling his depression. He felt scared about what was going to happen next. However, he is feeling good now.

He said that since he isn’t a mental health professional, he does not give advice to anyone. Moreover, he recognizes his privilege to be able to receive hospitalization. However, from his experience, he can say that no matter how bad the situation is, don’t take ‘no for an answer’.
