Twitter is up in flames, and once again, Conor McGregor is the reason. ‘The Notorious’ has engaged in a ‘war of words’ against the Irish comedian, PJ Gallagher. Starting from Gallagher’s small comment on a post to McGregor threatening him, the story has taken several fresh turns. The latest twist includes the entrance of Irish ex-soccer star Paul McGrath. The word fight is escalating every day since ‘event zero’. However, it caught everyone’s attention when ‘The Notorious’ ‘threatened’ the Irish comedian. The beef still hasn’t calmed down and appears to be ever-increasing.

Why did Paul McGrath criticize Conor McGregor?

During the entire scene, McGregor kept on attacking Gallagher. A lot of tweets have been taken down by ‘The Notorious’. Fans discouraged all his tweets that he had to take down. Meanwhile, Paul McGrath, the Irish soccer sensation, joined Gallagher’s side. He defended the Irish comedian against the 34-year-old UFC star.

McGrath tweeted in support of the comedian, “Pj take no notice of bullies, you’re loved by everyone. Whatever you do, don’t let him get the better of ya pal. stay well Top Man”

The Irish soccer legend also went ahead to call out McGregor in another tweet.

“Conor, you need to find GOD, and when you do knock on my door, I will have the kettle on for ya… my good friend,” McGrath tweeted.

What is Conor McGregor’s beef with PJ Gallagher?

A while back, UFC analyst Laura Sanko had mistakenly listed Conor McGregor as an active fighter from the United Kingdom. However, after pointing out that ‘The Notorious’ is from the Republic of Ireland, she changed it. In the same post, PJ Gallagher commented and made fun of the same.

Following the comment, ‘The Irishman’ couldn’t stop himself from lashing out. He began tweeting against Gallagher ever since. This has caused McGregor’s fans across the globe to grow sick of his online feuds.

Although it is most likely to stay an online feud, McGregor is still coming out in a dark light. If this continues, others also may join either side of the argument, making it bigger. Even though it would be a feeding home for internet trolls, no celeb controversy is good for their career.
