Serena Williams might not fare well if she ever steps into the MMA cage according to Bo Nickal! The legendary female tennis player is renowned for her incredible strength and agility on the tennis court. Nevertheless, if the undefeated MMA star were to be paid heed, he doesn’t believe that these attributes would necessarily translate into remarkable fight skills!

But when asked about which female athlete could potentially cross over and do well in a fight,  Nickal claimed that WNBA star, Brittney Griner would be his pick! His comments clearly indicate that he doesn’t believe Williams will be able to handle herself as well as Griner would when it comes to combat! Let’s take a look at what he had to say!

The conversation between Nickal and his co-hosts touched upon the topic of which athletes could excel in MMA. While there were initial doubts about who to name, Nickal’s co-host mentioned Serena Williams as an athlete who could do well in combat sports.

However, Nickal stated that, “I don’t know, I don’t feel like Serena Williams could fight, she’s this tennis player.” His co-host claimed that she is “strong” but Nickal revealed, “I guess, I don’t know, I haven’t watched a lot of film on her”

The dialogue underscored their uncertainty about Williams’s odds in a fight. But as the conversation went on, another female athlete’s name was offered up for discussion. Nickal revealed, “I feel like there are definitely other girl athletes that could fight”

His co-host then mentioned Brittney Griner, a WNBA player who is known for her imposing physical attributes. Griner was also in the news for her incarceration in Russia in the past. This time, Nickal affirmed that “she could definitely fight,” even equating her to Deontay Wilder and envisioning her knocking opponents out cold like ‘The Bronze Bomber’ is notorious for! He stated, “She could definitely, dude, she’s got freaking crazy reach, she’s like a Deontay Wilder type, knocking chicks out for sure bro.”

The conversation encapsulates the fluctuating perspectives and uncertainties surrounding the idea of athletes from other sports crossing over into MMA. Nevertheless, ahead of his upcoming fight at UFC 300, Bo Nickal has revealed that he has been leveraging AI to help him come up with game plans!

Bo Nickal reveals his ‘AI’ assisted game plan method

UFC middleweight Bo Nickal has taken a futuristic approach to analyze his opponents’ fight patterns by employing Artificial Intelligence (AI)! In a recent conversation with Joe Rogan on the JRE Podcast MMA Show no. 151, Nickal revealed that “I’ll go into Chat GPT, and you have to ask it the right questions, But I’ll say, ‘Hey, formulate a game plan for this type of fighter. I’m a wrestler at middleweight, this that, blah, blah, blah, and I’m going to fight this guy — give me the perfect gameplan for him.”

Acknowledging the nuances of interacting with AI, Nickal compares the process to prodding, gradually refining the AI-generated game plan to align with his requirements. The 27-year-old athlete also revealed that he envisions a future where AI can not only formulate game plans but also analyze video footage to identify opponents’ weaknesses comprehensively!

Looking ahead to his upcoming UFC 300 bout against Cody Brundage, Nickal, undefeated at 5-0, is using both traditional training and AI insights. Nickal’s journey exemplifies the evolving landscape of technology within the realm of mixed martial arts, hinting at a future where fighters may increasingly leverage advanced technologies for strategic advantage in the pursuit of victory.
