Conor McGregor has recently topped the list of the ‘fastest earning athlete’. Meanwhile, the list contained the likes of Canelo Alvarez, Tyson Fury, and many other prominent athletes. However, none could come close to what McGregor made per minute while fighting.

‘The Notorious’ also breeze-passed soccer players like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar jr., in the list. However, since soccer involves athletes playing for longer, that’s why these prominent entities were so much below the list. Nonetheless, the Irishman proved yet again that he has surpassed everyone inside and outside the octagon.

According to the report, McGregor banks almost $1 million every nine seconds. Which is almost $6.6 million per minute. Arnold Schwarzenegger made the same buzz in 2003 when his per-minute income was released.

Like the Irishman, who’s making a whopping six and half million per minute while doing what he loves, in 2003, Hollywood A-lister also came under the same light as the Notorious is right now. For the third part of the Terminator franchise, the rise of the machine, the bodybuilder was paid a mammoth amount of $30 million dollars. 

As per reports, McGregor made about $1 million every nine seconds.

Moreover, his screen time wasn’t even that much. Thus, his per-second earnings came out to be $4000 back in 2003. Although it isn’t comparable to what the Irishman made. However, the former Mr. Olympia made headlines during the time the news and his earnings surfaced.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is also a huge UFC fan. Moreover, has made sporadic appearances during PPV events. McGregor, who idealizes the Hollywood star, has come out on several occasions and stated that he draws inspiration from Schwarzenegger.

In Mystic Mac’s 2017 documentary, he finally met his inspiration. Meanwhile, the bodybuilder visited McGregor while he was suffering from an injury. Moreover, he also gave the Irishman some words of wisdom and inspiration.
