Dana White isn’t busy just with the UFC, he also has his hands full in other sporting ventures as well. He owns many other promotions and works with many athletes. As such, he recently caught up with BMX pro and former X-Games gold medalist, Ryan Williams, who shared a heartfelt message for him on social media to which fans have shared their reactions.

In 2022, Dana White and actor-entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek invested a significant amount of money in SLS [Street League Skateborading], Nitro Rallycross, and Nitro Circus, a Travis Pastrana-led extreme sports show. As a result, many extreme sports icons like Ryan Williams started working with the UFC president.

The UFC president recently met up with the former X-Games Gold medalist Williams after having met each other for the first time in 2019. Williams shared a picture of him with Dana White on Facebook with a message for the 53-year-old promoter as well. He expressed his happiness to be able to work with the UFC’s head honcho.

He wrote, “Good to be in business with the best!” Williams mentioned how both he and Dana White have come a long way since 2019. The 28-year-old also spoke about how both of them are trying to raise the bar of action sports and reach a greater level of success. Williams added, 4 years ago [Dana White] and I shook hands for the first time at Nitro Circus in Melbourne and now we are working together to push action sports to even greater heights!”

Fans react to William’s post with the UFC president

Some fans believe Dana White is the only person to can uplift action sports to a new level. Moreover, they claim that the 53-year-old promoter is lucky to have the opportunity of working with an athlete of Williams’ caliber. However, there were a lot of fans who felt apprehensive after witnessing the photo of the BMX Pro with Dana White. Let us take a look at some of their reactions.

The fans warned Williams to stay away from Dana White and compared the situation with the UFC’s fighter pay situation. Moreover, the fans didn’t want Dana White to sink his teeth into action sports. They claimed that he doesn’t take care of his employees and it could prove detrimental to action sports. In addition to those comments, one fan also mentioned that Williams may lose whatever he earns if he works with the UFC president.

Dana White’s busy schedule involving investing his time in other ventures has made many people upset. Even recently, when Islam Makhachev took on Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 284, the lightweight champion commented that the 53-year-old wasn’t taking the UFC’s business seriously. We will have to wait and see if White continues to operate the way he is operating right now.
