Joe Rogan once gained a fan in Arnold Schwarzenegger. The UFC commentator, Stand-up comedian, actor, and a popular podcaster discussed ‘The Game Changer’ a 2018 documentary on his JRE once. The documentary sought the truth behind meat, protein, and strength. It is most well-known for advancing plant-based diets for athletes.

The documentary was produced by James Wilks, who appeared on the podcast to defend his research. A list of widely acclaimed individuals also featured as producers for the documentary, including, Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Cameron, Lewis Hamilton, Novak Djokovic, Jackie Chan, Chris Paul and Joseph Pace.

The JRE podcast episode involved James Wilks debating against Chris Kresser. Rogan, also provided a suitable moment for Wilks to parley with the dissenting opinion.

Joe Rogan, a carnivore, wheels into the vegan debate

Rogan is known to his fans for his carnivore diet. He had famously converted the vegan, Mike Tyson into eating all kinds of meat. He said, “I used to be a cold-blooded vegan until I met you. Venison and the bison and all stuff. And then I realize that your body needs that. … That’s what I have been eating lately.”

This following conversation impressed Arnold so much that he wrote, “Joe, I just want you to know I’m proud of you for always having an open mind and being willing to listen and change your mind about some things. It’s too rare and if more of our politicians could do that, we’d be much better off. Thank you.”

Is Rogan now a vegan?

Joe Rogan had announced in January that he was going on a carnivore diet. His love for meat-eating is no secret. Moreover, his incredible body transformation in 2020 was credited to the carnivore diet.

He lost several pounds and looked the best fans had seen him. However, he still swears by a high-meat diet, and going vegan doesn’t seem like a possibility for him. He can regularly be heard speaking about eating meat.
