The concept of YouTube boxing didn’t seem to come up to the extent where it is today, where it brings in some of the biggest names in combat sports to fight YouTubers. And the Paul brothers have had a massive contribution in making this happen. Jake Paul has fought notable UFC fighters like Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren, and Anderson Silva in one of these events. Not only fought but managed to defeat all of them in the boxing ring, too. Wherein his elder brother, Logan Paul, has had three boxing matches, including the boxing GOAT Floyd Mayweather and the other two being against fellow YouTuber and business partner, KSI.

Logan then transitioned into the world of WWE and took to it like a duck to water. However, the 27-year-old is still not done with boxing and is looking for the right opportunity.

Speaking of which, he apparently had one opponent locked in for his next fight and a rather famous personality from the UFC. But according to the YouTuber, this ex-UFC star is ‘ducking’ him , even though Logan Paul offered him a supposedly massive deal for this matchup. And the fighter the controversial social media star is talking about is none other than Nate Diaz.

Logan Paul feels Nate Diaz is running from him

During the recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Logan Paul revealed that he had an exciting boxing match lined up next. However, his opponent, which he didn’t reveal initially, is avoiding facing him. “I think this guy might be running from me… I think he’s ducking.”, he said.

The 27-year-old further added, “We had the sweetest deal for him. And he knows the type of numbers that I bring in. Like, I am not a quarter-million pay-per-view type of fighter. You’re gonna get 750,000-1,000,000 buys. And I am a 0-1 YouTuber. Seems like an easy fight on paper, you know.” After Helwani probed him to reveal this fighter’s identity, Logan said, “It’s Nate Diaz.”

Further talking about what went down with this deal, the YouTuber said, “I thought I had something locked in. And apparently he calls and he says the fight is off. Like, ‘Why?’ Why? So you can fight someone else? For what purpose? To get less buys? And maybe an easier fight? I don’t know. I don’t get it.”

However, he doesn’t see this as the end of the Nate Diaz fight. Talking about the potential of that happening in the future, Logan stated, “As far as I know, it’s not dead. Because we had to f**king offer him more money. We gotta bait this guy into fighting me.”

Now that makes for one interesting matchup right there. Logan Paul vs. Nate Diaz. What are your thoughts about this fight? Would you tune in? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
