Sean Strickland is the type of fighter who would be ready to take on anyone, anywhere- Wrestlers, strikers, influencers, fans, or even prize-fighting boxers. It’s well-known now that Jake Paul is after any MMA fighter who would take on his challenge. He has so far, fought against Nate Diaz and came up victorious.

Apart from Diaz, Paul was in talks to fight up against Derek Brunson when he was still with the UFC. However, Dana White and Co., never really allowed that fight to come together. Now, he’s beefing with the former middleweight champion of the world, Sean Strickland.

Looks like Paul and ‘Tarzan’ have already gone over the whole thing before. In a series of leaked texts between Paul and Strickland, it seems like the two of them are all on board to go at each other. In fact, Paul asked the former champ to fight him even if it’s just sparring. Strickland, on the other hand, ensured Paul that he’d try his best to get Hunter Campbell of the UFC on board for a real fight:

“. . . it’s a typical story of these UFC guys who call me out and then go quiet. I said I’ll send you the PJ. Let me know where. We could spar for a million dollars. ‘Oh I would get sued by the UFC if I sparred Jake.’ But you just sparred Sneako, you could spar anyone contractually . . . I see a very insecure alpha male wannabe that’s hiding behind the tough man complex. He needs a hug.”
