Tear-Inducing Picture of a Smiling Cain Velasquez Gets UFC Fans Emotional

Recently, the former UFC champion, Cain Velasquez, was released after 8 months of imprisonment. The warrior was arrested for attempted murder and a handful of gun-related charges. However, the news of his release has made the fans extremely happy.
Velasquez tried to avenge his 4-year-old son, who was being molested by a man named Harry Goularte. However, the 11-miles car chase and shooting of his .40 caliber got him imprisoned. But fans stood by his side and ultimately, the fighter was released on bail.

Fans stood in support of Cain Velasquez
Finally, the heavyweight fighter, Cain Velasquez got out of jail on $1 million dollars bail. Following this, Mostly MMA took to Facebook and shared a picture of the fighter. They captioned, “This picture was taken moments after realizing he’s going home. Look at that smile.”

Undeniably, Velasquez’s bail has put the fans in a frenzy as they showered support for the fighter. Here’s what fans had to say:
- Cain is a world champion and more importantly he is the protector of his family
- Don’t forget to celebrate freedom when you celebrate life… freedom makes life worth living
- Everybody pray for the Champ! Any father would have done the same or worst. I pray the Judge has grace and mercy
- Poor cain. He’s a good guy, anybody who would go to jail protecting the loved ones is a hero.

Why did Cardio Cain go to jail?
The former UFC champion was arrested back in February 2022, for allegedly pursuing a car carrying Harry Goularte, the man who reportedly molested Velasquez’s son. And then the fighter was accused of firing several rounds from his .40 caliber handgun that hit Goularte’s stepfather. Consequently, Velasquez faced imprisonment based on the charges of attempted murder and 10 other gun-related charges.

However, the MMA world rose in support of the warrior for trying to bring justice as a father. Campaigns of ‘Free Cain’ were held to show their support.
Nonetheless, Velasquez got out of jail on bail. The terms of his release included home detention with GPS monitoring. In addition to that, he’s not permitted to have any weapon inside the house. Moreover, the fighter also has to undergo outpatient therapy for CTE and traumatic brain injury.
