MMA in general has become the pinnacle of combat sports over the years. A major reason for the incredible growth could be credited to the UFC. With the promotion becoming the juggernaut that it’s become, it’s not surprising that it has attracted the attention of quite a lot of big names in the sports and entertainment world. Influencer-turned-WWE superstar, Logan Paul has recently shown interest in fighting in the promotion.

Triple H has his doubts about Logan Paul’s dreams of fighting in the UFC

During episode 413 of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, wrestling royalty, Triple H graced the podcast where they covered quite a lot of topics. However, there was one thing that the 54-year-old seemed to be quite skeptical about.

The two talked about WWE wrestlers crossing over to UFC and possibly doing well. Though Brock Lesnar had made the transition and found great success in the MMA promotion, there were others such as CM Punk who failed to impress.

Paul, during the podcast episode, explained why he would find success transitioning to MMA. However, the WWE CEO seemed to find Paul’s statement quite hilarious. Triple H responded to Logan Paul saying, “I don’t want to see him sprawled out in a prime logo… actually let me say that differently, it’s okay if you lay down on a prime logo, it’s not if you’re on a monster energy.”

Can Paul’s combat experience help in the UFC?

During the podcast episode of IMPAULSIVE which featured the WWE CEO, Logan Paul shared his vision of WWE superstars possibly crossing over to the UFC. Logan Paul does have a little experience with combat sports, given his past boxing fights, notably one with the boxing legend Floyd Mayweather. However, despite this, Triple H dismissed the idea, claiming that the experience of getting hit is far different in MMA than it is in pro wrestling, and only a few would successfully be able to make the transition.

“The Maverick” would then go on to volunteer himself for the transition in response to Triple H’s comment. Paul stated, “Send me. I wrestled. I wrestle now. I would do it. I would totally do it. For the right dance partner, yeah, I would love to do a UFC fight. Now that you guys are partners, I think at the right time, it could make a lot of sense.”
