The ever-aware MMA personalities have reacted to the verdict on their social handle. But an interesting comment came from an MMA coach who trains many successful fighters, including the “Baddest Man on The Planet”, Francis Ngannou. Erick Nicksick shared a story from the time when the UFC went to Fight Island. What did the coach say?

The man behind the success of ‘The Predator‘ shared a tweet after the Griner verdict. Nicksick wrote, “I remember when we traveled to Fight Island, there was over a 3-page list sent by the UFC of things that could get you arrested or even beh**ded, if caught smuggling into their country…”

The Xtreme Couture MMA coach also mentioned a few things he wanted to have with him but couldn’t.

Nicksick wrote to one user, “Sh**, I didn’t even bring CBD cream for my elbows.”

However, the coach got reminded by one user about a UFC fighter named Ottman Azaitar who breached Fight Island’s COVID-19 protocols. The promotion later released the fighter from its roster.

They brought a mystery bag into the bubble, and thus the promotion released the fighter. This news wasn’t as big as the American basketball professional’s current 9-year sentence verdict. However, it also created a lot of noise in the media.

Ngannou’s coach replied to the user, pointing out the UFC 257 incident; Nicksick wrote, “Someone just brought that up last week, WTF was he trying to smuggle in?!!”

The middleweight contender made a cheeky comment about the situation. Brunson, who is known for his humorous takes in the MMA Twitter world, wrote, “All I’m saying is … I ain’t going to Russia no time soon.”

Even the 2-decade vet UFC announcer, Joe Rogan, made comments on his Instagram handle after finding the news. His fellow broadcast partner, Laura Sanko, also made a remark. Even Conor McGregor‘s grappling coach and teammate, Dillon Danis, chimed in the conversation.

Former UFC welterweight title challenger and Strikeforce middleweight champion, Jake Shields left remarks on Twitter about the 6’9” Houston-born player.
