Paulo Costa didn’t hesitate to go to Israel Adesanya post his bout with Yoel Romero. Paulo called Adesanya out for being a coward and a shameful champion.

Israel Adesanya went up against Yoel Romero at UFC 248 and took this fight via unanimous decision. But did everyone in the crowd unanimously agree to this decision? The fight was hyped to be one of the biggest fights of the middleweight division. With Adesanya on an impressive streak and Yoel with a point to prove, this match was locked in to be a blockbuster. But it was a letdown.

Adesanya spent half the fight running from Yoel’s scarily powerful left hand. Yoel as well didn’t come out packing. He took it slow and it went this way for the entirety of the main event. Adesanya finally won the fight but to what credit?

This main event was a letdown indeed. It fizzled out into a disappointing match of running and catching with no actual fighting. And the disappointment roots from the fact that Yoel and Adesanya are two of the strongest and best the middleweight division has to offer right now. they were supposed to rock T-Mobile to its foundation.

Costa added: “The fact is, Adesanya can’t handle (Romero), and Adesanya can’t handle against powerful guys like Romero, Jon Jones or me. That’s why he’s afraid to fight.”  Paul wants to get his hands on Adesanya and will go through anyone till he has his shot!
