Amanda Nunes Welcomes New Member to Family Along With Title Defense

It’s official Amanda Nunes is set to defend her UFC Featherweight Title against Felicia Spencer.
The Bantamweight and 145-pound champion is looking to square up against Spencer in the CO-main event at her home soil in Brazil.
The Brazilian has finally got an opportunity to defend her position as the two-division champion. President Dana White confirmed that Nunes will take in Spencer at UFC 250.

If Amanda Nunes comes off with the win against Spencer in her title bout, making a little history is not the only thing she will be celebrating. The Lioness and her partner Nina Ansaroff Nunes are looking forward to bringing a little cub into their family.
The two fighters have decided on naming their child Reagan Ann Nunes. The due date seems to be sometime during the month of September.
The couple announced it only a couple hours ago with a post on social media, posing with a little dress and a pair of baby booties.
Nina Ansaroff is a Strawweight fighter and confirms that she will continue her career in the UFC after the baby has arrived.

Nunes (19-4 MMA, 12-1 UFC) has become one of the greatest female martial artists, during her continuing 10-streak win. The Lioness annexed the featherweight title in a short yet dramatic win over Cris Cyborg. Striking her down in just 51 seconds. And taking the victory with an impressive knockout.
Nunes will become the first in UFC history to defend UFC titles across 2 different weight classes. Spencer is keen to stop the Brazilian from etching her name in record books of combat sports.

Felicia Spencer(8-1 MMA) holds a UFC record of 2 wins and 1 loss. Her first and only loss came against Cris Cyborg at UFC 240 in the third round by Unanimous Decision.

Spencer herself is set to make history as the first female Canadian fighter to win a UFC title. Georges St-Pierre and Carlos Newton are the only other two Canadian fighters to have won UFC titles. Spencer might just join the two in the highly exclusive club of victors.
Nunes tastes defeat last against Cat Zingano when she was knocked out in the 3rd round. Following which she has maintained an impressive win streak of 10 bouts. Looking to make it to 11.
Her last win came against the Dutch fighter Germaine De Randamie by Unanimous Decision.

Felicia Spencer is coming off a very recent win against Zarah Fairn. The Jungle MMA fighter beat Fairn by knocking her out in the very first round. The fight took place only last weekend on the 1st of March at UFC Fight Night: Benavidez vs Figueiredo.
UFC 250 is set to take place in São Paulo, Brazil. Henry Cejudo will be putting up his Bantamweight title on the line in the headliner. Jose Aldo will be looking to take the title off of The King of Cringe’s hands.
