“Better Than Paige VanZant?” – Junior Dos Santos Makes a Hilarious Statement

Junior Dos Santos has been an entertainer from the MMA universe, in and out, throughout his fighting career.

While he has amazed the MMA fans for years with his vicious KO power, he also entertained fans by appearing on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ last year.

When it comes to fighting, JDS keeps a competitive approach with his rivals. However, he keeps a similar stance for the battles outside the cage. He opened up on his experience at the dancing reality show and shared his opinion over the other two UFC stars- Paige VanZant and Chuck Liddell.

Since all the three UFC fighters have been a part of the Dancing With the Stars show, a comparison between them has been inevitable. Yet, JDS believes that he has done enough to garner appraisal from the audiences. He recently sat down with MMA fighting to discuss his upcoming appearance at UFC 252.

When asked about his tenure with the reality program, Dos Santos billed it to be a wonderful experience.

“It was really good, I was competing with 11 other people and for me that was great. I was not a dancer, I had never danced before and in my opinion, I did great,” said Dos Santos.

Since Paige VanZant and Chuck Liddell have also participated in the program from UFC, they are bound to face comparisons. That said, JDS places himself over Chuck Liddell in dancing. However, he still believes Paige VanZant was the best amongst them.

“I did great, maybe better than Paige Van Zant? No, I am not, but better than Chuck Liddell for sure. Yeah,” he joked.

Both Rozenstruik and Dos Santos have faced crushing defeats in their last appearances, respectively.

While JDS has lost two of his last fights against Francis Ngannou and Curtis Blaydes, Rozenstruik had a similar ill-fate against Ngannou.

Talking about all these three losses, they have been cemented via knockouts. However, Rozenstruik and Dos Santos are equally professional at registering KOs. They can hit flush and shut lights anytime, anywhere, inside a cage fight.

As most of the people are thrilled about the heavyweight matchup between Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic, ‘Cigano’ and ‘Biggi Boy’ are gearing up for another heavyweight classic at UFC 252.

UFC 252 will take place at the Apex Center in Las Vegas on August 15, with Miocic vs Cormier III as the main-event.
