In a recent interview, heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte took his rivalry with Francis Ngannou to the next level. Whyte has been making the headlines for quite a while now. The Brit has called out several UFC stars in the past and continues to do so.

Among all the names he has called out, Francis Ngannou stands out. On multiple occasions, Whyte has ridiculed Ngannou for his lackluster performances against Derrick Lewis and Stipe Miocic.

Recently, in an interview with Sky Sports, Whyte threatened to knock Ngannou out if they meet in a boxing ring.

Ngannou is dumber than he sounds if he thinks he’s going to do anything in boxing,” Whyte told Sky Sports. “If he turned up to fight me like the coward that he was against Derrick Lewis I’d hurt him and knock him clean out. That was officially the most boring fight in UFC history. The only thing more boring is his personality.”

Whyte compared Ngannou to former WBC heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder.

Dillian Whyte claims that Francis Ngannou has no personality

“If I called him a potato it would be a compliment. He reminds me of that other deluded coward Deontay Wilder. Ngannou has to be the most boring man on the planet. A speck of dust has more personality.”

Dillian has one pro mixed martial arts match on his record. He defeated Mark Stroud via a brutal knockout. However, it seems like Whyte wants to fight Ngannou in a boxing ring.

Ngannou is ready to go

Ngannou last fought against Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC 249. The “Predator” destroyed the kickboxer in just 20 seconds. After the Jon Jones fight fell through, Ngannou is expecting a lay-off before he fights again. Meanwhile, he is willing to step inside the boxing ring.

“Yes, I would have a boxing match,” Ngannou told Sky Sports. “Whoever is possible and whenever is possible. The top heavyweights. I am always confident in my power. I have no doubts with my power.”

Do you see Ngannou vs Whyte taking place in a boxing ring? Will Dana White allow a crossover like before?
