Former UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw shared a brief statement on Instagram, expressing his excitement to the fans. The once pound-for-pound ranked fighter experienced a fall from grace after testing positive for EPO and facing a two-year suspension. Chiefly, the news of his mandatory hiatus came following his failed attempt to capture the 125 lb strap.

His last fight was against then 125 lb champion Henry Cejudo back in January 2019. He suffered a brutal 32-second loss to ‘The Messenger’ and failed to become a two-division champion. His struggles in the promotion continued as he was swiftly slapped with a USADA suspension that shocked fans.

It seems like the former champion is ready to leave the past behind and look ahead to his comeback. Chiefly, he was considered as a top-tier talent in the company and expected to be a long-reigning champion.
