Curtis Blaydes has accepted to face off against Derrick Lewis in their reported headliner in November.

The heavyweight matchup is still to receive an official go-ahead. However, the top-rated contenders appear ready to go against each other.

The contest surely seems alluring. While Francis Ngannou gets his title shot against Stipe Miocic, it leaves Blaydes, Rozenstruik, and Lewis as the remaining top-gunners. That said, ‘Razor’ Blaydes vs ‘Black Beast’ Lewis is highly relevant on the charts.

Lewis and Blaydes are two of the most alarming heavyweights in the UFC roster. They are familiar to the fans for possessing sleek KO power in their fists. Not to forget, they have put several elites on the canvas, clean.

However, Lewis vows to encounter Blaydes on the mat, rather than just fighting him on feet. Thus, it is safe to predict that the ‘Black Beast’ is also gunning for a wrestling matchup.

In that case, Blaydes seems ready for the provocation. Since several fans have questioned his wrestling abilities, the heavyweight superstar took to the comment section and landed another stunner.

Blaydes, the #2 ranked heavyweight, is riding on a four-fight win streak. However, he is still far away from the heavyweight title talks.

One of the primary reasons can be Jon Jones’ inception into the tale. If ‘Bones’ seeks a heavyweight matchup soon, he will get to fight for the title.
