Colby Covington Blames Jorge Masvidal for Jon Jones’ DWI Charge

Colby Covington has a penchant for trash talking. It has made him a polarizing figure amongst the audience. ‘Chaos’ repeatedly claims he is not here to make friends and his only goal is to make money. He engaged in trash-talking to such an extent that it forced ATT founder Dan Lambert to introduce a “no trash talking policy. It was also known as “the Colby Covington rule.” ‘Chaos’ however has still found a way to poke his former friend and fellow trainee Jorge Masvidal in an attempt to get under his skin.

‘Chaos’ was on Submission Radio with Denis Shkuratov and Kacper Rosolowski. On the show, he shared his thoughts on Jon Jones’ latest brush with law enforcement. He said ‘Bones’ arrest showed that there is still some normalcy in the world.

“My best buddy, my college roommate. Mr. Jon Jones keeping the world perfectly normal. Through this pandemic. Its strange times. We all know that we will never see anything like this in our lifetime. But everything is still normal in the world. Jon is still getting caught by the police. He’s still getting charges for being the dirtbag that he is. He’s still catching drug charges he’s a cheater and a fraud. And it’s only a matter of time before that guy gets locked away for good.”

Colby Covington pins ‘Bones’ troubles on Jorge Masvidal

Chaos asked Shkuratov and Rosolowski if they saw the alcohol in ‘Bones’ car on the 26th of March. He had a gleeful look on his face as he enlightened the duo as well as the audience about the supposed culprit behind the UFC Lightweight Champion’s troubles.

“It was journeyman Jorge Masvidal’s liquor in the backseat of Jon Jones. That’s how good of a friend Jorge Masvidal is. He gave an alcoholic Jon Jones alcohol and look at what happened.”

’Chaos’ has said he will adhere to Dan Lambert’s rule. His latest dig at ‘Gamebred’ is just banter. Will the BMF respond to this bizarre allegation put on him? Could we possibly see a fight between these two scheduled in the coming months?
