Dan Hooker has no business poking fun at the former 170-pounds champ. However, the reason he jumped in was that he was trying to back up his training partner Israel Adesanya. Adesanya and Woodley have been going back and forth at each other after Woodley announced that he was looking to move up to Middleweight.

The UFC had booked a fight between Woodley and surging Welterweight Leon Edwards for UFC London last month. But the outbreak of Coronavirus resulted in the postponement of the event. Since then, Woodley has expressed his desire to fight on the May 9th card that is scheduled in Florida.

Unlike Tyron, Israel managed to fight right before the virus brought the sporting world to a screeching halt. He headlined the last UFC event that had an audience. His next step is to defend his belt against the Brazilian, Paulo Costa.
