As Jon Jones confirmed his move up to the Heavyweight, his last rival at the Light Heavyweight division, Dominick Reyes, wished him luck on Twitter.

Even though âThe Dominatorâ was very vocal about the supposed robbery of his victory in the controversial decision victory for Jones, he was aching for a rematch to settle the score. Furthermore, most media houses and the President of the UFC, Dana White himself, were in favor of the rematch.

After all, giving the arguable GOAT a true run for his money is something that rarely ever happened. Whether it be striking or Octagon control, Reyes went toe-to-toe with Jones, making the decision a tough ordeal.
Of course, his demands for a rematch were fueled with ambition and desire for greatness and accomplishment.

However, as Jones moves up, Reyes holds no hostility towards a fellow fighter. His gesture is a true display of the sportsman spirit, which is revered by athletes across the world.
This is why, in the end, MMA is all about unfathomable respect. Nevertheless, Reyes did leave a side-note saying that he will always be ready for the rematch, whenever Jones feels like it!
