Nate Diaz stirred up a whole new pot of controversy as his comments on the title fight between Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns did the rounds on social media. Many pundits and fighters, and of course, both Burns and Usman, put Diaz on blast for his comments. Very recently, former Lightweight Champion, Rafael dos Anjos, too, responded to Diaz.
Rafael originally responded to Diaz in a tweet, which he later deleted.

RDA said,
“If you’re making good money good for you, the bragging part is f**ked up.”

Even though he deleted the tweet, he posted a similar jab at Diaz after he called Conor McGregor out for a stint inside the Octagon.
Let’s do it @TheNotoriousMMA if you’re looking for a fight I’m the guy. 155,165 or 170 you know I’m always game. Fuck this retirement shit. @danawhite @seanshelby @ChaelSonnen @ufc

And @NateDiaz209 stop bragging of how much money you make, don’t forget where you came from. You got big money fight because I got hurt.

The constant jabs at Diaz for the boasts regarding his pay arose due to how Diaz ridiculed Burns and Usman for an “incorrect” title fight.
Rafael dos Anjos unhappy with Nate Diaz due to comment on the money he makes
Diaz reacted to the announcement of the title fight between Usman and Burns on his Twitter in a rather blunt manner.
This is what’s wrong with people claiming they’re fighters settling for less cause they know they’re not worth shit you should’ve fought the next guy in line not the guy who would take less cause he’s told too that’s why no one will remember youguys

Even though this did not sit well with both the fighters that he targeted, his next tweet enraged a much larger group of people.

This comment came as unacceptable for dos Anjos, especially at a time when a lot of issues regarding the fighters’ pays are doing the rounds.
