In the opening match of UFC 251, bantamweight Davey Grant added a brutal KO win to his resume.
Grant walked into the building with an 11-4 record. The Brit was on a one fight win streak and hadn’t fought since November 2019. His last match was against Grigorii Popov at UFC Fight Night: Magomedsharipov vs Kattar. He won that bout via a split decision. He took on Martin Day a couple of minutes ago.
Unfortunately, Grant suffered early adversity in the fight. His opponent, Martin Day, scored a knockdown in the first round. However, Grant displayed his warrior spirit and weathered the storm. He then took the fight to the ground in the second round.
